You might find 'joy' in changing those in the ebay APIM to match your original APIM. You may see other programming differences between your original APIM and the ebay APIM, and one or more of those may relate to your backup cam problem. As far as the backup cam problem (You DO have backup cam as a feature in your original, as-sold, before-mods Escape, correct?). If that doesn't help, or makes things worse, change it back (restore) to what it was and forget my suggestionģ.IF different, change only that digit in the ebay APIM to match your original APIM.compare the two and look for differences, focus on the first digit at 7DO-01-01.re-install your original APIM and do the same.using ForScan read the programming on your currently installed ebay APIM and write down all the addresses / values. You might try this (based on 'reverse engineering' info in this thread Variable Line Level Preamp Outputs From ACM (Factory Radio) For Amplifier Upgrades). you still have a non-Sony system using only the amp in the ACM.Ģ. No matter if the ebay APIM was from a 'Sony' car, you have not 'added' "Sony" and you don't have a 'Sony sound system that works OK'. Unless you added all the wiring and Sony DSP/amp module (I doubt that), your APIM must interface with the ACM as for your original non-Sony FE. ![]() ![]() IMHO you've failed to follow the details to get each separate component/feature mod successfully implemented before moving to the next, and that's 'bit' you.ġ. You've now got quite a mash-up of components that don't 'align' with the original feature set programming and wiring in your '13 non-Sony FE. Assuming this is a continuation of your thread.
